More than 120 years ago, the German chemist and pharmacist Hans Schwarzkopf laid the foundations for a brand that has been at the forefront of innovation ever since. Combining quality ingredients and the latest haircare technology, reliability, expertise and craftsmanship are the cornerstones of everything the brand does and stands for.
From developing the first liquid shampoo to becoming a globally recognised salon colour, today. Instilling confidence in both professionals and consumers worldwide, they allow everyone to express themselves in their own unique way. Creative, compassionate, exciting and empowered. GHD
In 2001, three hairdressers from Yorkshire put a radical new hair styling product into the hands of women across the globe.
With the respect and loyalty of an army of devoted stylists, ghd quickly developed a cult-like status nationwide. A monthly trip to the salon was no longer the only way to have a good hair day - this could be achieved every day.
FOR MILLIONS OF WOMEN THIS CHANGED EVERYTHING.
Green Salon Collective
Green Salon Collective recycle and reuse hairdressing salon waste, focusing on specialist items like hair and metal, so that our business can become a more sustainable salon.
Green Salon Collective use hair in over 10 different ways, including cleaning up oil spills, and donate all their profits from recycling metals. They compost salon towels, generate energy from chemical waste and PPE.
So far, Green Salon Collective have diverted over 100 tons of hairdressing salon waste from landfill or incineration.

How many single use plastic capes have been mindlessly thrown away?
How many hours have soaking cotton towels spun around the dryer?
The answer to all of these questions is – A LOT!
Over a 15-year period of working in hair salons, it was abundantly clear that these wasteful habits needed to end.
Determined, we spent two challenging years designing a towel that would meet all the needs of salons and individuals alike.
As founders of Phantom Towels, we believe in our product. No suits, no gimmicks, no BS. Just a product that truly works and we truly LOVE!
